About Us

Carpenter’s Shop Christian Daycare is a place where young hearts and minds work, play and grow together. Each child is provided with an opportunity to develop his/her cognitive, social, physical and emotional abilities to the fullest. Center curriculum and activities also include opportunities for spiritual growth by teaching Christian values, weekly chapel time, summer Vacation Bible School, Bible Stories and other special Christian Programs.

Carpenter’s Shop has an Open Door Policy whereby you may visit your child’s classroom as you wish. Teachers welcome parents to have lunch, read a story or just visit. By making an appointment, teachers will be prepared to set aside time for you privately.

The mission of Carpenter’s Shop Christian Daycare is to work with parents to instill Christian Values in children. The center offers chapel one morning a week with our youth pastor for all children of the appropriate age. 

Established in 1989, Carpenter’s Shop Christian Daycare is a ministry of the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay and has been serving families in the community for over 30 years. We look forward to welcoming you to our family and providing high quality, loving childcare and a Christian community for you and your child (ren).  

Carpenter’s Shop Christian Daycare is a ministry of the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay and is an extension of its policies, values and goals. Enrollment is open to all.
